Modifying Your Team Name: Balancing History and Change

  • Navigating to Team Settings:
    • Access team settings page by visiting My Teams on Community Gaming.

Implementing Name Changes:

  • Within the settings, initiate the desired team name change, ensuring it complies with platform guidelines and is easily recognizable by your teammates and peers.
  • Note: This modification doesn't retroactively apply to previous tournaments. Historical data will preserve the original team name for accurate records of past engagements.

Points to Keep in Mind:

  • Legacy Information:
  • Ensure all team members are informed of the name change, emphasizing that it will only apply to subsequent tournaments. This prevents confusion during future participations.

Timely Roster Changes:

  • Ensure that roster modifications and re-enrollments are completed within the tournament's registration period to avoid missing out on participation due to timing issues.

Communication and Confirmation:

  • Maintain open channels of communication with your team members to confirm new roster configurations and validate name changes. This ensures everyone is on the same page as you venture into new tournaments.
